Ballcup!!!!!!

Had a great time tonight. Plenty of fun.

Awesome battle in the main, Rick. Kept me on my toes for a long time.

Fraz, funniest marshalling evers in the 2wd b main. Haven't laughed that hard in a while.

^ They don't stock 1/8 bodies, but I'm sure they can get them.

The buggy was on rails, but my driving sucks. 14.3 in the main, on a new setup. Can't wait to tweak it.

The truck was a bag of ass. Felt great at Gallimods, but something is wrong with the diffs/transmissions, so I'm going to have to go through everything. It ran hot all night, and the clicker wasn't clicking... lol

I'm tempted to just pick up a new one, and get it right from the start.

Keep it up. I wasn't pushing it because the temps were high. Allegedly other guys with MORE gear are coming off 30* cooler. 180 degrees? no es bueno...

Lamar, what motor are you running in the sc10 4x4? I think you have an sc4x but just want to make sure. Anyways I dont think heat should be an issue unless the gearing is off. I ran an sonic 8.5 540 at the trophy race and it was running 160.

That was a borrowed motor (thanks again Kyle), now I have a pro4 4000kv in it and it runs cooler.

I've been looking for electric onroad racing close to Meriden and can't find a place. So I'm thinking of making the switch to offroad.

So what's the most popular class you guys run? What brand has the best support from the shop for parts?

I was running 16/62 with the Tekin 5.5 at Ed's shop and temping 150 after 8 min, but it felt like a dog. I've got a Pro4 4600kV in there now. I started at 13/62 and was at 160 in 4 min. I went down to 11/62 and managed high 170s in the main, but I wasn't squeezing the the trigger.

It felt good, but got worse throughout the night. Something is clicking, and it's not the 1-way.
