Default Cooling holes in windshields

I've noticed that the Serpent team cars have half holes in their windhields. I think this is to keep the DF up, while still allowing cooling into the car.

Is it better at the top of the windsheild or at the hood line?

when the track is high speed you geta fair amount of air circulationg, so you can get by with less and if you leave more roof line it will be less prone to flex, the associated guys did it to.......

dumb question but here goes
by half a windscreen do you mean half horizotally or virtically?
in australia we use half virtically and take out the whole back window we also use the hole we cut on the front winscreen as a refuelling hole is that the way you guys do it?
the reason im asking is ive noticed how much flex you get in the roof by cutting the cooling holes this way

I meant JUST half the 2 inch hole, as in not a complete circular hole.

Our ROAR rules state the hole in the windshield can be no larger than 50mm, measured at the widest part. We can cut the entire rear window out if desired. But the cars I've seen at our Nationals didn't have the whole hole... They do have a giant hole in the roof to allow the fast fuelers (guns)access, too.
