Dont use 40%

i have had many engines over the years and the max i have ever used was 20% i do everything from club events to gold cost challanges and some state titles and most of the guys there use 16% so if you want your engine to last long term drop the nitro down to 20% or 15% and like MANINTHEMUGEN said shim it.

You don't need to shim it if you run 20% or lower.

40% percent is pretty high but I see a lot of guys using it. If you use odonell plugs go with #97 or #99. for nova i would use #7tf or #8tf and its been posted before but you will need to shim the engine.

Yeah double the amount of shims at least and go polar bear toenail cold plug like. Your motor is also going to loose reliability.

Go to www.rbproducts.com and scroll down the left side to "which glow plugs to use?" and look at the ambient temps vs. nitro, etc and see which to use.
Good luck
