Hey razzor
what do you say about the Axial RR12.

It is not easy to say in english what i mean about the engine.....
I thinkt the engine had not the power to hold the new Nova R&B sirio engines......

I heard that too. Awesome power down low in the rev' range. Doesn't quite rev' up as high as the "big" motors. But 'WOW' out of the corners !
Friend of mine has one and it's looking very good.

Hey All,

Do me a favour friends. Weigh your beast's and let us know what your fighting weight is.......
No Body and no fuel in. Say if you have tires on.

I have all the heavy stuff on mine now. 4mm chassis, Speedshot front end, a front diff' in etc.
My "Menace" weighs in at 1744g. New Tires on, no body and no fuel.

If my memory serv's me well. (Haven't actually weighed one for a while ) they usually weigh, out of the box, 1725g......is that right?

Let us know.

BM thats the next project to see how to reduce weight or at least get the weight concentrated lower on the chassis.
Would be interesting.

As for the Axial ,havent run it yet ,will be tomorrow at our prep and tune.
Will compare it to my PR12 and DSII.
At the moment the PR12 is running exceptionally well and has more top end legs than the Mega DSII and the bottom is like a elastic band.
My setup on my car has been really awesome out of corners especially with the ED tranny.
The DSII didnt like the short 1st gear gearing and ran good with the 17/51 1st where as the PR12 seems to like the 15/51 combo ,will be trying 16/51 tomorrow.
2nd gear is the same 21/45
I run out of packet Kfactory quick release wheels with the front trued down 2mm.
The PR12 at the last meet was holding its own on the top against a buddies CRF in his Mugen MTX4.Now only if i had his fingers
He is our fastest guy at our club and used to run a G4S until the guys he works for said he must run the Mugen. He works in a local hobby shop.

The track we will be running the nats at is a very fast track with technical infield and a very long back straight.Odd thing is we will be running the track anti clockwise for the Nats. track pic can be seen on the home page for the following link.
This is the same venue that the African Cup Onroad and Offroad International will be held at later this year.

Yes........ I come in around 1840g
I will have to look into the "Lightweight Project" I think!!

I wanted the car to be as stiff as possible in the chassis.....we'll see if it's worth the weight on Saturday

- change 8 kingpin to titanium kingpin 9mm ball -> About 20g light weight

- remove unnecessary metal(aluminum) option part

aAnyone have a great experience from RCscrewz before?

I ordered a body which they said was in stock back on march 8th, it is now april 5th and the order still says pending yet they charged me for the body.....

Im gonna call them up and yell at them for a bit try to get them to cancell the order

thats kinda of a downer since I would love to get their screw set too but now Im not going to.

also does the MTX4 handle ,the wire one, work on the g4s?

How well do the mtx-4 titanium screws match up with the g4s? I found a set for $49 and I also found a mtx-3 set for $29 in titianium do the mtx-3 ones match up decently?
