Alright I couldn't take looking at the seroent 705 heading anymore.
I believe this was the last post in that forum:

could someone tell me the differences between the 705 and the impulse pro? ive run lots of electric, looking to get into nitro next spring. also, what is the hot motor currently?

racerfreedxxxs, the main differences the 705 has from the Impulse Pro are that the Receiver pack is mounted under the fuel tank for a LCG, the 2 speed has been lightened, and there is a newer version of the serpent centax clutch which uses larger bearings and comes with the XP black clutch shoe. Other than that the 705 has the front and rear suspension components as the Pro.

racerfreedxxxs, I ran the last few club races of the year there. Definately going to make more of the club races next year, along with running as many of the midwest series races as possible. Do you race over at Ultra?

why isnt there as much action in this forum as in mtx3, ntc3 or voner forums. isnt there many people running the impulse anymore?
Do you know any one here that has the new 705 yet!?!?
Also i beleave that a lot of peeps trade in their Serpent for newer cars like the NTC3, Yokomo, Reflex, ect.
Wait untill the 705 comes out and see if you can ask that same question.

The Kyosho V1RR and MTX-2 has alsways been active here. Not so back in the non-HPI forum. The NTC3 has been more active in the non-HPI forum than it was here and now that has changed trends since the non-HPI forum is now dead.
So racerfreedxxxs, do you run an Impulse? Shoot if you have any 705 or PRO related questions Preferabbly since 705 is not out yet officially in the streets, lets keep any discussions regarding the Impulse Streetspec / PRO / 705 in the Serpent Impulse V9 thread here.
I'm trying to get it running again since we last stop at V8 thread at the non-HPI forum. Thanks

I think this will be part of the "upgrade" package for PRO to 705 which would include the chassis, new tank and battery mount, rear bulkheads, upper deck, upper deck support and maybe the cool engine mounts
