Most retailers in The Netherlands use the suggested retail price for their customers to avoid price-wars. On the other hand you can find alterative resellers which have a more attractive price. I bought my 705 online at the website of a friend of mine ( http://shop.the-border.nl ) for Euro 429,-- (19% VAT included). For our situation here this is pretty cheap (didn't find a cheaper shop). On the other hand, for every luxury item we goy here (cigarettes, real cars) the government earns a lot on this. You get used to that.....

Yep, one Euro equals approx. 1 dollar. For Americans it could be interesting to buy your stuff in Europe because mostly you don't have to pay taxes. So you can extract 20% off the price we pay here.....

Default Serpent 705 from Holland

LOL... Guys, you can just go ahead and order online directly from Holland at RCCarinternational or The Border as mentioned by herb. I heard that the waiting list is long.

Just send an e-mail to [email protected]. I know he has 1-2 705 kits available today. I bought mine today from him. Today I'll pick my digital camera from a friend to make pictures of my 705 in 'virginity state'.

C U later !

Welcome aboard How much did the whole thing plus shipping come to? Estimated arrival?

herb,

Waiting anxiously for the pics... Does it come with the same black box or is it now different?

It's cold in Holland. What's the weather like? Did you manage to skate in the canals yet?

You could always ask Maxboost for the shipping costs, etc....

He's had one for a couple of weeks now.
