Default whats the fastest .12 or .15 engine?

i'm just curious... I've seen a single speed car overtakes two speed cars in a technical track.

Maybe the car with two speed is using lame engine.

Buy OS .18 TZ if you want crazy fast.

I think Blackwrench wants top speed for fun.

Fastest lap time involved car selection, car setup and driving skills.

what size is the track? the size of the track really makes a difference. when i used to race parking lot i locked down the 2 spd and changed my 1st gearing..it just not enough room for 2 speed to kick in, but driver and setup play a big role as well.

the track size is about 250-300sq.m. one long straight and lots of turn.
can the second gear be adjusted to kick-in early.

I think Blackwrench wants top speed for fun.
i'm looking for nice acceleration. i think the top speed of the car relies on
the tranny.

Yep the 2-speed can be adjusted to kick-in earlier....you loosen the adjuster screws on the second gear to get it to change ealier.
The top speed of the car will depend on other factors as well....such as gearing (pinion/spur), engine, and also tyre diameters.
Cheers

You wouldn't want the 2speed to kick in so early especially on a smaller track since the gear ratio is lower and the engine is still climbing in it's power. It'sall preference though and depending on who's driving. I hated the way my 2speed kicked in early. The car didn't seems so fast accelerating.
