The Jamrock RC Car Club will host the Caribbean Invitational on-road race inviting racers from around the world to the beautiful island of Jamaica. The three-day race calls for open practice on August 14, three rounds of qualifying on August 15, and a final round before main events on Sunday, August 16. Four classes will be offered – 1/8-Scale Open, Nitro GT, 1/10-Scale Sedan and Electric Touring Car, and entries will cost $45 (USD) for the first class and $25 (USD) for each additional entry.

The organizers have also planned a road trip for the day following the race (August 17, 2015) to St. Ann. This trip will take you through the beautiful Fern Gully where one can admire the variety in ferns and to also view the indigenous art work.
The trip will then move on to the famous Dunns River Falls where you can challenge yourself by climbing the 180 feet high and 600 feet long falls.
On return persons will get a chance to experience the wonderful tourist town of Ocho Rios where you can get famous jerk chicken, jerk pork, roast fish and other indigenous foods while listening to the sounds of beautiful reggae music.
Road trip cost is an additional US$40.00 (Includes entry to Dunns River Falls and transportation)

The last event last year was really great and it is expected to be far more exciting next time around. The Club is inviting racers from around the world to the beautiful island of Jamaica to be a part of the three wonderful days of RC fun.
