Both ways are OK. when I measure falt on the Board, checking that my chasis is not bent, i measur on the wheel hexagons.

Special one-way bearing oil or red ATF oil as a cheap alternative

The Hudy One-Way Oil works great. Do it when ever it's convenient to take the 2 speed out of the car, when ever you change gearing (spurs) but if your at a race "weekend" I would do it once a day minimum!
Hope that helps. Make sure you clean it before you re-lube it again though :-)

Regards
BM

Hotspur always uses special oil or fat for one way.

Thanks for all the help guys. Ran car for first time this past weekend. Rear seemed to get loose on corner exit. Was going to adjust rear camber to 3 degrees. Would this be a good start? Any other suggestions?

I've never seen a number on them. I'm told that the difference is 'trail'.

If you have them side by side, you can see that there is a difference in the centerline of the 3 holes. My MGT7 came with the '2105B'. (3 holes in alignment) Adam Drake did a video on the '2129' (his preference for MGT7). The holes on the 2129 have a noticeable 'offset' of the center hole. You can see it if you look closely at the pictures of the two different parts on sites such as AMain that have them shown.

I like the 2105 just fine but Adam told me he likes how the 2129 smoothes out his steering. I think he uses the same piece in his off road vehicles.

Other drivers could tell you what 'trail' could do for you. I can only speak to how I figured out 'which was which'.

To see friends I explain, ref. E2105 is the original that comes standard on the MGT7 and the E2129 is the optional that is mounted in case of putting "Front Universal Set E2218"

Default Front Center CVD Issue

Anyone have issues with the grub screw that holds the pin in place backing out in the joint of the front center cvd causing the pin to come out? It's actually only happened to me once but I know people that it's happened to very often.

My guess is that it happens when the joint gets too hot and melting or neutralizing the locktite on the grub screw.

Looking for a solution here although myself and everyone I know with this car runs the electric version.

It hasn't happened to me but a friend with a serpent had it happen multiple times so when I built my car I used a stronger automotive locktite so I wouldn't have any issues.
