Hoping to get some track time this Sunday… just about done, only the shocks are left. As expected with all Mugen kits, the fit and finish on this is fantastic. Everything went together perfectly. But was was best about this chassis is my radio tray from my MBX7 buggy just popped in as I'm waiting for new KO servos to ship. I'm even using my OS SPeed from my buggy. Just too convenient.

I have been busy with 1/5th scale stuff the last 2 weeks getting ready for our first meeting this Saturday at Joliet, IL for some large scale "on-road" fun.
But after this weekend I shall be clearing the bench for the MGT7 build. Looking forward to my first Mugen build!!
I think I will be starting out with the base set up with very few upgrades to start.

Unless some of you think there are upgrades I should go with from the get-go?

Adam Drake has a small informative video on the Mugen site that talks about the 'kit stock 2105-B' and 'optional 2129' pivot ball mounts. I haven't seen the 'definitive' source elaborating on 'the steps to minimize the curse of the caster angle'.

Absolutely a fine machine!!!!!!!!!!!

'Cheers back at ya'

That vid was actually on the AMain Mugen parts page and shows that the 'buggy' stock is 2129 and GT7 manual shows 2105-B as 'stock' and 2129 is the 'option'.

Yes... I just noticed that myself.
I have ordered the E2129 with the offset axle just to see what effect it will have on the car.
But thanks for the info'!
On a new car like this, which is so closely related to another car that is still up to date, its good to have info' like Mr. Drake has offered on the MBX7*

Will be interested to see how this car builds. I will start the build on Monday with the diff's

By the way. I did have a peak at the diffs. The parts are really well made, very light while still looking durable. (Talking about the out-drives)

Wow...Tony for the Mugen, congrats. I am sure next year Byron you will have a great time with the Mugen GT. You might be teaming up with the WANG.
