C Verano,
That did it. I changed out the 2 speed housing with a Kawahara LW 2 speed housing and man this car rocks. I think I am ready for the series race here in Region 9 now.

Glad to hear it worked out for you. Good luck at your series race.

Thumbs up GPX4 RTR x 2

Hi Guys
My son 16 and myself (40something) have RTR versions

Both run hyper 12 rear exhaust , with very different set ups
we run approx the same time on both cars and vice-a-versa

Cant seem to get it to run as fast as others

Any ideas! is it the motor? or just the cars

Its probly not so much the chasis its most likely the driver the engine and the set up of the car if the car is set up for the track properly then you should have no problems getting better and more consistiant laps also the hyper 12 proberly isant the most powerful eniging suited for that car the enging the i think would best suit the car will be the os 12 tr (p) wherre as the gpx 4 pro would be the os 12 tz but thats just my opinion although working in a hobby store helps allot because a few people here have the rtr version and they some times come in looking for a more powerful enging but its is only worth inversting in a new engine if u are going to race wich not many people with the rtr gpx do and the pro version only have a handfull up here have and all are raced so i would consider in buying a new enging or looking at the set up of the car although befor buying a new engine i would look at the rules befor buying a new engine because if ur in the rtr class you may not be allowed to buy a different engine

Good luck

yeah. if your new to the hobby, i suggest you get the OSTZ if the budget permits. OS engines do not require that much tinkering on it and its also easier to break-in. Well at least thats what i think. Im also using an OSTR for my hobao car and it works great. I have to change this plastic carb insulator though since this piece is quite old.

Arrow Gearing / Oils

Guys we have taken some slack out of the steering and front Suspension
And have picked up some time 1.5 secs.

What oils in front - rear Shocks and what the best gearing for small tight track with 50mt straight.

Hi we have a small tight track here in the PI. Were using Associated 40WT shock oil for both front and rear but sometimes we change the rear to 30WT. For gearing, I just used the stock gears that came with the package.
