congratulations to team mugen for winning the first anual west coast nitro challenge in 1/8th, Sedan, and oval.
Ron Calangi taking the TQ and the win in 1/8th and Darin ishitani winning Sedan. I was also told that Brian Thomas got 2nd in both classes.
I got to pass by on Saturday for one round of qualifying and looks like Crystal Park has a nice race program to go with thier new and improved track. So the So cal area really has two good tracks to host races now.

The race was fun and had a kick back feel to it. James ran an excellent program. All the qualifying rounds and mains went off without a problem.
Congrats to Darin, Ron, and Brian T.

the race was lots of fun, the traction was very good, the racing tight, and the oval was off the hook, i would like to thank all the manufactures for coming out and supporting the firt annual west coast challenge. congrats to Ron on his debut with his mrx4 ( TQ and the win nice) and to jose for the sedan TQ and darin for the win, and lets not forget brian on his two second place finishes in sedan and 1/8th scale and the win in the oval race nice job, forgive me i just like that guy
