To the powers at Kyosho,
We are big fan of the KF01 Nitro F1 cars.
Why not sell them in the USA?
Todd called Kyosho USA and was told these cars will Not Be Availible For Sale in The USA.
WHY NOT?

From what I was told Kyosho would perfer an out side entity distribute the KF01 in USA. The problem with this is once the ball start rolling Kyosho will probably have a change of heart, who do you think will be left with the short end of the stick.
I'm not holding my breath either, I'm simply sending my money elsewhere until the KF01 is for sale in the USA. The next Kyosho car I buy from my local hobby shop will be a KF01. Believe it or not I still look forward to being able to purchase the KF01 here in the USA.

Banzai hobbies

Gents,
Get your kits from banzai hobbies, they've been very responsive for special parts requests. The kit also uses F-103 type tires so tires are a non issue.

Get your kits, parts and tires; start a class at your local track. YouTube is your friend on this crusade. Get yourselves noticed, they might just have a change of heart.

I've gone through the same non support for the Philippines, I'm a little closer to Japan though, a least you have a distributor in the US.

Thought I'd post, Been building one of the "Build Rb7" Cars, 1:7 scale Kyosho Magazine week by week subscription thing, though it's taking too long.

Stumbled upon these last night on the Kyosho website, saw the MP4-4 "Styled" Car, figured tomorrow was pay day, jumped on it!

I see you guys in the US now have a Retailer though in AUS it's still bone dry, ended up purchasing from "hobbycart.com" and hopefully they are the goods.

Ordered
Kyosho 1/10 Gp 2wd Kit Kf01 T90 Body With 31007
Kyosho Starter Box F-01R R246-8651
Kyosho Front Wing ( White / Kf01) Kf008W
Kyosho 2 Speed Transmission Set (Kf01 For ) Kfw025

Ended up being $470

Keen to get this, Should only take a week or 2 to get here,I'd love to start up a 1/10 scale "Grand Prix" near where I live, there's 3 tracks I know of in a 50km radius.

GL all with your projects!

Just got an email from Hobby Cart that the Kyosho starter isn't in stock. They said that I can choose another starter for this order, though from what I've read others don't work? Anyone know of any other boxes that will clear the flywheel opening to start this car?

Much appreciated!

Has anyone on this forum got a kf01? if so, would a .12 engine fit?

No, a .12 won't fit. You would have to fashion a whole different chassis to do this. A buddy of mine in Finland did this with a Spada 09 to put an OS 26 four stroke.
