Default Who makes a belt driven 1/8 gt that's available in the US?

I know BMT has a belt driven GT but it seems that it has to be ordered from overseas. I'm looking for something similar that can be purchased in the US along with parts availability. Not looking to race the platform. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

There are a multitude of 1/8th on-road cars, belt driven that you can place a GT body onto.
Its not the chassis that makes it a GT car... its the body.

My opinion I guess. Although thinking about it. You would have to figure out what to do about wheels and tires....

Are you wanting to run it on rubber GT tires?

Regards
BM

I´m from Brazil and here in my city is pretty popular the 1/8 belt driven rallygame GT. We all order it from Italy using paypal, it gets here in less than a week by UPS or DHL.
Since you do not have stores in the USA that carries them, I´ll suggest you do the same. You can look for in the net the following models:
- BMT 011
- RadioSistemi Crono SP9
- Taurus GTV1
- I-Fenix 4S
- Schepis MZ3
- FastRace GTR10
- Blade RX1

I hope it helps you.

I believe the ROAR has ruled out belt driven GT cars.....

GT100 is a Speed Merchant!! He has set several speed records! I suspect he is considering this cars platform for another landspeed record.

British Menace, I'm aware of the 1/8 scale on roads from the past with the staggered foams but I'm looking for something more of a belt driven that can run 17mm hexed wheels.

NH, I won't admit to or deny your theory. Lol

Thanks Raman. I saw that article a few weeks ago when I was researching that type of car. Lets see how "early in 2014" it'll be released and hope it hits the US.

No belt-driven Rally Game car is readily available in the USA. It's a class that doesn't exist over here (and ROAR made sure it wouldn't) so there's no desire for distributors to import and support a class that has no chance.

That said, we are Radiosistemi's N. American importer. If you are interested in the Radiosistemi SPX (the SP9 has been updated), let me know.
