Dremel the bar down till it fits.

BrainTeased 08-23-2004 04:14 AM

yea those roll bars fit above the body's roof just cut the roof abit enough to slide the roll bar in.

or get a dremel, or a grinder and cut about 3 to 4mm of the ends o f the bar. nitro cars already have too many ugly holes in the bodies. we don't need another one.

Thanks

Which brand make it?

Re: New engine mount to achive higher RPM

Must be tough bump starting that puppy, the igniter would need to be extra long to get it through the body to the plug. Unless it's running a lola. Can't really tell though, maybe I'm wrong.

I bet it runs better with 30 degrees toe out in the front.

I actually saw some guys using this set-up in Japan...they say it was for lower CG, nothing about higher RPMs. And they used a much smaller micro ss clutch.

Re: New engine mount to achive higher RPM

reckon it won't increase the RPM, but it definitiely looks very LCG! who made the laydown throttle servo?

rcabj 08-23-2004 10:13 PM

rcabj 08-23-2004 10:16 PM

Profoxcg 08-23-2004 10:25 PM

who makes that mount?

Where did you get that from ?

rc_alan 08-23-2004 11:40 PM

I could be wrong, but I believe this is what the future MTX4 will look like... As in laydown throttle servo and laydown motor mounts... Had a friend that saw the same pic on a Japanese Forum site... Eddiethefish... Great find and post!!! Hope to see you at Crystal Park Saturday...
