anyway, honestly I think the V15 is over kill, too much power for 10th seden, unless you are running lola with some 35+mm rear tire otherwise it is hard to put the power down on the ground with the correct gearing. (you can gear it up higher to get the power down, but then you will never goign to hit the powerband)

too much power?? is this Ah10? :weird:

The only ones I know of are the Kawahara and the ebay ones. evlhdlts on this forum sells them on ebay. I've never tried the Kawahara ones. I hear they don't last long. As for the brake pads, have you tried your LHS? It's a pretty common part and is not necessary to shop online for. Unless you don't have a LHS:eek:

16/19 conversion belts

The Traxxas nitro 4tech 121 tooth main belt is perfect to use for the conversion, don't ask how I found that out. They don't last as long as the ebay belts, but they do last about the same as the Kawahara belts, just not as free.;) Just got my Prospec today.:D

Well, you don't need to read it fast but there is alot of information you can get from the past posts. I was not trying to not answer your questions but if you take alittle time you will see this has been answered in depth with alot of different input. It doesnt really take alot of time and the conversion is not a required "hopup", it just offers another way of tuning the car to your liking. Mike Swauger did not run it down at Ft Myers to take 1st place at the Winternats so don't worry....everything you need to win with is included in the kit.
Thanks for you encouragement !

PROSPEC &'s REG MTX3

Guys,

Since I need to buy a car now, (Mugen)
is the Pro spec worth the price? or is it better to get the mtx3 and buy a few crusial upgrades?

thanks !

gentleman81 05-19-2004 07:47 PM

Profoxcg 05-19-2004 07:48 PM

does mugen make a diferential for the front of the car? on of the tracks i run on is very tight and calls out for a differential.

also, what about solid axles? either front or rear
