Online Store

Hi Guys and Gals,

As much as I would like to support my LHS, sometime it is easier to just order the parts online. Where do you all shop when it comes to E-tailers?

TIA

real info needed

I am new to 1/10 rc and the mtx3 is looking like the one for me, but all i see on this forum is alot of chatting, and there are hundreds of pages on here to look thru. Just to let you know the serpent site my tsn is about 115% info so just to let you know.

what are some real need to know building tips for the mtx3, i put a mbx 4rr together with no prob. its gonna be a "snake" charming assasin!!!

mckrooz 04-28-2004 04:56 PM

Haha, people chat on here cause that's all there is to do:lol: The car handles great and there isn't really much to talk about. Just build and race. The most informative pages are the first 50 or so. What would you like to know about the car?

mckrooz 04-28-2004 05:01 PM

First thing to do is get front universals and the aluminum hex adapters. Some of the kits had some binding in the brakes when first built but after some running in they are fine. You may have to sand down the pads a tiny bit to free it up. But running in, they may loosen. Put loc-tite on all the pillow balls because the screw can back out under vibration. Thats it. There really wasn't anything else that had to be modded to fit. Everything went together perfect.

yeah i feel you on the chat thing i dont mean to be a pain or anything. the car was the first choice for me between the serpent and mugen, i just want to get some knowledge from some mtx drivers, the only one i have seen run was by a big shoot at the track and he didnt even finish! anything u can tell me to make my car better

Ummmm, this IS a chat forum, there is a lot of useful info just the same. My advice, if it takes less than 20 hours to build you will have issues. Follow the instructions to the letter and if you have any questions get on here and ask.:D :D :D :D :D

Hey gentleman81,

Get the Snake! You'll learn a lot from it. Don't get MTX-3. There's nothing to learn at all. The car is damn stable and you can't seem to need to do anything on it.

I miss being on the TSN after I sold my Impulse PRO.

mckrooz,

don't thread-lock on many things, you may regret.

Yeah, Yeah, I agree.. Get the Snake, and you will learn a lot.
At least, you'll learn to find a hobby store that carry parts you need.
