the cross pin on the are cvd on my car is right on the outest edge of the rear diff outdrives, i am going to try some front bones on the rear to see how it works

but it shouldn't been a prolem coz i had them like that for last season and the outdrives seems to hold up good

I just tried swaping front to rear and it's better.

I'm going to buy another set of fronts and that should do the trick.

I've a Mugen x12 on ny mugen MTX3 and I would like to know were is the proper spot in the engine for accurate reading. And what is the temperature for this engine.

we usually take the temp reading at the plug.

make sure you use 1 or 1.5mm offset rims to measure trackwidth as the car is designed for offset rims.

I'm also trying to get a solid front spool or conversion for my MTX-3's also, anybody got any suggestions?

I'm looking for a good Lola rear floating body mount, anybody got a good supplier? I like the ones posted by Manti a while back...I'll try to dig up the picture...)

Here's the pic....

Thanks for the advice.....

this rear floating body mount is from hasimoto (not sure about spelling). price tag is expensive and it does look fragile. I have never use a Lola body shell on my MTX3 but people are just stick with the original body post tower with good result.

Rough rear Diff

I was helping a friend build his MTX3 for the first time and I've
found his rear diff to be real notchy. You can feel the gears turning very much. I've taken it apart and put more oil, less oil, no oil, just to see if it gets smooth and nothing works. Once you put the four screws in (tried tight and loose too) it starts, has anyone had any experience with this? What should I do? Any suggestions?? I'm stumped:confused:

i believe it is due to the new bevel gear. it should become smooth after a few tank of runs. dont worry !!

but be sure you build the diff with proper spacers and according to the manual. be sure you have the gasket too. :D :D

Thanks Manticore, That's what I thought, but my only other experience was with mine, and I didn't have that feeling.
