shooter 4mm chassis

the chassis' finish looks great. i was also pleasantly surprised to find out that the chassis came with shooter's alum 14mm engine mount (color is very dark grey...cool).:D am not sure if the other brands also include their engine mounts with their chassis.

downside is, the clutch bell rubs on the chassis just a tiny little bit and will need some dremel work to get it to fit nice and right.:(

also have to say that the sato seiki parts are also quite good in terms of finish and fit.

how to make the mtx 3 steer more on power?

reduce front droop, then if this isn't enough play around with the top a arm caster. more layed back equals better exit but at some loss with entry and vica versa with the arms layed back.

also caster affects the way the rear end reacts on exit so be carefull not to add to much as it tends to make it "kick out" when exiting if it is set too far back

increase a bit the spacer on top of the rear hub will help on power out of corner steering.

the belt does the power transmission job. the gearing on the pulley makes the difference.
