You're forgetting a few things...

SMP make 300-350 cars pr. year. Also if you do the math - you'll find out that the other makes cost 2-3 times the cost of a SMP if you upgrade them with alu parts etc...

You're lucky to get hold of a Slide. And it's seriously speaking the ONLY car of them all which is practically impossible to wear out! Only the ball bearings are in a totally different quality range than any other make of 1:8 car...

In my opinion the SMP Slide is the best value for money 1:8 Track car ever made!

Kevin,

I hope you will continue to post updates on the car. It's nice to see what options are available to the 1/8th scale crowd. The car is, no doubt, a master piece. Too bad about the flamers - I really doubt they are RAMS members (as they claim).
