Default how are your fusions?

Hey guys,
just wondering how your fusion cars are going.
THis topic hasn't been talked about for a while, so i thought i might bring it up.
I'm thinking of buying my first nitro car... and the mission looks great!
RRP is $400 US in Australia tho, its not cheap.

Do you find the car durable? and anyone hit into anything at high speeds?
Looking at the brocher its capable of $80mph... thats damn fast!!!

I'm thinking this car could be too fragile for me?

Adrian is right, the ntc3 is a second gen touring car, serpent and mugen cars are just downscaled 1/8th scales which is why they are fast on wide open tracks but choke on the smaller tracks. Nice seeing alot of carbon fibre on a nitro sedan now. Any plans for a carbon fibre chassis?

The Chassis on the R12 will be Aluminum alloy (Aluminium to those across thwe pond).

There will be Carbon shock towers and top plates available as options if not included in the final kit spec.

The R12 program is coming along nicely. The car should be ready by late January or early February.

I read all the comments, the car sounds very promising. But where is it made? And what about availability of parts?

Well the car is made in the UK. And if Schumacher is true to form parts will be flowing aplenty for it

Its gonna be interesting what the boys from the otherside of the pond are gonna muster up. They got their work cut out for them and looking at the prototype it looks like they're not gonna follow convention. Look at the servo placement and the suspension arms, etc..; not very conventional for a nitro tourer. I hope the final production car turns out to be something unique and new. I'm sure it will be good. Schumacer has always done a fine job in the past.

i take it you saw the pic;s i posted earlier in this thread.
you should have also seen that i posted the car came "nd in the last Breitish national after battling for the lead. it seem quick but, did suffer some failures BUT for a prototype very good.
im sure schumacher will make parts available , after all you know about the mission!

Yeah, this thing was talked about in this month's Extreme - but there's NO WAY this one is legal - .21 with a three-speed. . . What about a "Competition" car. . .

Cartman - go back to page one and, strangely enough, you will see that I have been posting on this topic since then - I have the third post. . .

Also, I went back and re-tried your link to the front page of the Schumacher site - nothing about the new .12 but a bunch about the Fusion 21. Where did you go inside that site to see the .12 proto? That's all I want!! I just wanna see it!!!
