Hopefully JJ "Embraces" the moment a little better this time. I have never seen a kid so nervous around Fluffy Pillows Is Rick Wang running GT8?

Default TZGP

Ok guys more entry's coming in every day, so sign up so you don't miss this great event on the world famous TimeZone Raceway!!!!

The track will be in the best shape it has been for a long time, the surface is killer and traction this year will be good.

Also we are starting to entertain the thought of allowing some electric classes to run again this year, what is our guys thought about it??

Thanks again for all who will make this race Karen and I will make sure it is worth your efforts.

Default 'sparktakulars'

FABMAN.......

By mentioning 'electrics' you've probably got Ted on the edge of his seat. He'll most likely be bringing his eGT8 anyway. I believe you already have enough eGT8 owners in your following for a full heat.

I missed 'Bruce' with his 1/10th electric last year.....as well as 'Deanna' (sp) and her husband. It was fun to see Bruce pick up a few seconds each round.

Rick,

My vote is for adding electric even though I will only be running nitro classes. Up until last year the TZGP offered electric and nitro. As an electric on road racer I looked forward every year to the TZGP. Stock and mod sedan always had hotly contested battles for locals and drivers from all over the northwest. Adding mod sedan, stock sedan, and Spec/VTA sedan will again allow electric on racers the chance to experience the Woodstock of RC racing.

Not running electric , but we have a few drivers here that might want to make the trip to run electric.

Would love to run electric mod touring, perhaps stock as well.

Will adding electric bump up the number of entries for the event? I know of a few racers around here that would probably come to run Mod Sedan and or a 17.5 sedan setup.

Adding electrics back for the Heart of America series has added 2 solid heats of 13.5 touring.

I still play with 235 - 10.5, some say it's to fast but it is a blast .....

I haven't been around TZ for very long but, I think it would help expose more people to the nitro classes and possibly convert a few over

It is also nice to have a little "quiet time" throughout the day lol!

Yeah I'm getting tired of hearing electric is faster blah blah... Lets see who gets the fastest laps! I want to actually see it on a track that's big enough to run full out 10th nitro. Oh man I could imagine some wicked fast Mod sedans going down that back stretch also. Time will tell!

If we ran electrics it would probably be 17.5 Blinky and Mod Sedan on Spec Tires

Can anyone tell us what tires are to be used. I know we have had a spec tire for GT in the past. Also it would be nice to get a heads up on the length of qualifiers and mains. I would like to see at least one electric class just to break it up a bit.
