If the optional chassis is graphite, does anyone have any tips to keep engine cool during use?

The hole that I marked is not the break pivot hole, that hole is an index hole for the bulkhead. The break pivot hole is down and to the lext of the one I mark. There may have been a CF chassis, but that one is aluminum.

ah-HA.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. But I always enjoy placing the last post on a thread that will soon die.

I just received Sunny's black chassis. I must say when I first held the chassis, it felt too light to be aluminum. I tried scratching it a bit to see the aluminum side but the anodization wouldn't come off. I finally tapped it and it sounds aluminum. It's aluminum with a great anodzied black finish. The CF upper deck as well as the rest of the parts in the kit are of great quality. I can't believe NEO went out of business. I'll keep you guys posted on the resurrection (?sp) on this kit.

Davidl thanks for the option parts list.

Sunny check your email.

Does the attack need special body posts to fit on a touring car body?

It will use the same lola body mounts. The 235mm class and 8th onroad need the lola mounts. No regular body posts for these cars otherwise they handle like crap and won't get power to those fat rear tires.

I built a 2WD Attack about 3 years ago and used a touring body. I had to find the Serpent rear body mount and fit it to the rear. That thing suspended the body to the chassis and not the rear uprights. Then I got some long Associated body bounts for the front and mounted that to the mounting plate.

I saw some Impacts on Ebay with a weird slant rear body posts. I think I'll just get a Lola to avoid this.

Definately stay with the Lolas. You get better handling with them and the floating rear mount. Need both to have the best.
