The organizer, after many persuasive phone calls, has removed the maximum price limit for engines in the 1/8 GT Class.

This is great news, we look forward to having you and your group racing at Homestead RC Raceway during the January Speed Month. The webmaster is working on the online entry form, we will post the link as soon as it is completed.

Doug M is this for all races or is this for one race? There are a few threads here that have racers planning to go to these and there seems to some confusion on the engine rule. Here is a link to one of the other threads

I have some friends going and if this is changed they do not need to buy new engines at that price point.

The 3 races in January for 1/8 GT will allow any .21 to .28 engine. There will not be a maximum price engine rule at these 3 races during January Speed Month at Homestead Raceway.

Thank you very much Doug I wish I could go to these races, but I have to go with the family to a cruise. So next time.

Default Race Schedule for Jan 18-20

Where can I find the schedule for this race. Is practice scheduled for Friday and qualifiers on Saturday? A group of us from Texas are planning on making the trip. How many qualifiers are you going to run? What is the anticipated completion time you expect on Sunday? I want to book my flights but would like to find more info so I can make plans. Looking forward to running on this track, I have heard a lot of good things about the racing scene in Florida.
