The CVD's will be the same price as the MTX3 as the cars use the same CVD's and aluminum hexes.

Does anyone know if the MTX-4 will use the same 2 speed and clutch gears as the MTX-3 ?

And will the 4 come with .8 gears ?

why is everybody asking if you can use the same parts from the MTX-3 on the NEW MTX-4?????????????
if you wanna get the MTX-4, you wanna get the latest car, why do you want to convert this car into an MTX-3??????? just stay with the MTX-3 then.
new car means: "NEW CAR"

It comes with .8 gears. Different 2 speed (same housing) and it uses different sized (fewer teeth) pinions.

Is the clutch the same and only pinions different?

It uses the same clutch as the prospec, but a different clutch bell. I assume the bell is different because the pinions are smaller.

No, I do not have the car yet.

I am guessing you meant to ask when, not where but either way I can only say what Mugen tells me. That is the same thing they tell everyone else. In the US, we are hoping for some time in the next 3-10 days.

3-10 days for the team, or when LHS's should have it in stock? Either case, hopefully its sooner rather than later I'm having a hard time deciding on whether to get this car or the RRR. I love my mtx3 prospec, so I know the MTX4 will be just as good or better...damn, I already have an engine and electronics waiting for a new car. lol

3-10 days before they arrive in the USA. Then they have to be shipped from Cal to the respective, team drivers, distributors, shops etc.

Remember that time can always change again.

Good things come to those that wait. Hold off on the K-car and wait for the 4. Mugen parts availability and support are the best so why put yourself into the K-car.

From my friend over at Hong Kong because they have a group buy of MTX4 over there right now.....the car will be availalbe sometime next week to all local hobby shops there (again, what do I know....I just quoted from his word) and the price is $2500 HKD (group buy discount in street price)....that is = $320USD.......street price should be $350 USD, of couse, if in US, that will be like $380-400 range.

I still need them to confirm with me once they have the car.....again, just want to share what I heard....none of them has the car on hand.
