if you leave a gap between the 2 speed shoes it doesn't have to expand a lot to shift and you'll get a more consistent shifting.......

You can also try letting the shoes move slightly on the holder, I know a few top drivers that always set there 2 speeds up with this little bit of play and swear by it.

I use Skyline's pack as well and I have been able to charge the battery to 1320mAh which is pretty good. What I don't like is the connecting wire. It's too short. I had to install a longer one. I use direct connect on my car, not a switch, so the wire needs to come from the front of the battery out the side and into the receiver. The included wire is about 10-20mm too short.

does any one find any advantages out of any of the option parts that are available for the MTX-4 or are most of them just for bling. Ive got front universals, engine mount, rubber belts alround and steel pinoins

Try harder tyres like 40s and 42s are you running one-way or spool/diff???
