if you leave a gap between the 2 speed shoes it doesn't have to expand a lot to shift and you'll get a more consistent shifting.......

it worked for me at least.....

You can also try letting the shoes move slightly on the holder, I know a few top drivers that always set there 2 speeds up with this little bit of play and swear by it.

I'm using the Skyline receiver battery as well and I was able to get away with connecting it directly to the receiver. You can see from the picture that the battery plug goes from the right/back end of the battery to the receiver. It worked out to the exact length and worked perfectly. What kind of radio gear are you using, it may be different plug locations of your receiver that is causing the wiring hassle.

does any one find any advantages out of any of the option parts that are available for the MTX-4 or are most of them just for bling. Ive got front universals, engine mount, rubber belts alround and steel pinoins

without knowing your setup information, i can tell you it's the tires you are running, try 42 40 , you will feel much better.

Try harder tyres like 40s and 42s are you running one-way or spool/diff???
