Anyone know if Great Planes\Tower Hobbies is getting out of the Kyosho business ?? I heard or read a rumor that they might be...
I'd really like to get a couple V-One-RRR WC kits...but...parts support might become a pain though

got no problem with kyosho parts!!
bunch of parts in philippines,thats were i get all my spare and hop up parts and so damn cheap!

So how is this going to me immediately?
Eventhough it may be April, it will still be another 3 months before your LHS will be stocked with a new wall of Kyosho parts.
Also, how do we know if Kyosho is going to change the pricing? They may not at all.
Will see a whole slew of parts become available that Great Planes had discontinued in the last two years?
Will I see Kyosho items that were never offerred by Great Planes show up as a new item in LHS?
Will the price of a Gigacrusher Dual Force go down to $450?
Will I be able to buy a Lazer ZX-S here in the U.S.?
For now I doubt if there is any real benefit to come from this. It will take some time for this change in management to benefit any of us Kyosho enthusiasts.

I think the work is already getting started for Kyosho USA.
Just the other day I went to check on some parts at Tower for my KX-One and TF-4 and they were all discontinued! Now I know these cars are old but not that old! Besides, they've always kept some parts at hand like hub carriers, knuckles, susp. arms. However this time theres is nothing!!
So either one of two things, someone bought out all the left over Kyosho parts or they're getting ready to send these parts back to Kyosho for a big credit on their invoice. I'm hoping its the latter.
However if so then I will have to wait six months to a year before those parts will show up again hopefully at the Kyosho USA warehouse.
