Default HPI Rs4 3 from rotory to slide carb

I just bought a Mugen Seiki MT12 to run on my RS4 3 and it has a slide carb i wasnt sure how much trouble it is to convert from a rotory carb to a slide carb with the linkage? it cant be too bad is it?

Itīs as easy as having the right servo horn,mount the servo in the right position and make the links.If you have a pullstart make sure you clear the rear suspension arm.

HPI sells a slide carb conversion linkage set. They used to have 2 styles. One for the original RS4 the other for the RS4-2 series. They might have a set available for the RS4-3 series now. You could use the older ones just as well. The oldest set is the one I prefer because it includes slide collars and springs as well as servo horns for most brand servos

for the rs4 3 just use the linkage for the old rs4 with the rotary carb it workes perfert on the rs4 3 with the slide carb.
