Four Stroke engines ?
I couldn't find the right search words to find an answer to the question.
Is anyone running a four stroke ?
One of the coolest things Iv'e seen in rc was a 1/8th oval car with a .21 four stroke running on alcohol. Sound, smell, flames out the exhaust at night. That thing was killer. That was 20 years ago and now I want one too but a GT.
What four strokes are being used ? easy fit or nightmare ? recomendations for car ? I have electric mugens and ofnas in 1/8th scale but would like an excuse to get that Kyosho Vette. My last nitro was my new Cox Baja oh yea.

There are a few people running 4 strokes. OS used to make a car specific .26 and .40. Good luck finding them now though.
I have a Kyosho FW04 with 4 stroke engine that I'm reviving. You'll need some custom work to fit it into other cars. Some people have put in some airplane 4 strokes but they won't be as powerful, the plane application engines do not rev high at all.

There was. OS had a .26 and .40 car specific versions. Believe it had revised cam profiles and stiffer valve springs to reduce valve float at higher RPM.
I have the OS .26. Not really powerful top end wise, but it could idle all day and had very good smooth low end torque. Boy does she smoke a lot though...
