Got it at Warricks and tried to run it at Ft myers on sat, but it went crazy.

i just bought one from fast and furious. i am a tad concerned now. is there a way i can tell if it is bad from my home?

Just set it up on your car, bind it and try it.

If there is a problem, you know right away.

Give it a good run around the yard for a bit, you'll notice certain parts of its range the receiver won't respond or the signal seems laggy. I have a 3pk with the spektrum module/receivers. I tried all 3 of the receivers I bought, all did the same thing. Throttle response was laggy at times then it would loose signal all together on steering and throttle.

I contacted them and was told to send everything back in for an update. It's ok though, once the kinks are worked out this setup will be perfect!

I wonder what the percentage of bad ones versus good is.

I did get an email (finally) saying that the receiver has been repaired and has been shipped out. So I should have it for our first off-road race day
