There is not a conversion kit that I am aware of and if I remember correctly there is a large list of parts to get it swapped enough to justify a new kit to most. I was thinking about messing around with my Cobra B 2.0 and seeing what it would take to get it close. I was thinking more of an all out rally car since I have a Subaru STi body just sitting around waiting to be painted. Looking at the car there are a few obvious changes that would need to be made which is where I was going to start.

Front Bumper and Mount
2 speed Trans
2 speed clutch bell with gears
GT flywheel (the buggy one does not work out well
Crankshaft Extension
Rear Body mount (might be able to rig something up with the wing mount?)

Beyond that there are the shocks and so on but I would imagine you could get going with the above. To match it up perfect it would be an investment no doubt. You could always start with the single speed setup to save some money and see if it is something you like too. To me the most important part is get the body to mount then play with setup.

I’m sure others have ideas as well.

Welcome aboard Pit-racer. Does this mean you will pit for me again? You'll never look back now that you're running a Cobra.

You're so right ..... it was hard leaving my serpent 2wd on-road years ago. Man I'm hoping you or Andy will pit for me one day in the A-main. Dreamers need to be positive.

O.K. I'm a lil lazy and don't want to read all the previous pages. I'm asking what are the absolute must haves as my build on the cobra gt starts.

Overall, the car out of box is already excellent! However, there are few "must have" items that might help you podium (that's if you decided to race...LOL)

-Center diff holder (aluminum)
#600286

-Servo Saver spring (hard)
#600330

-Black springs
#600602

-0 degree steering blocks
#600611

- 10 degree caster blocks
#600136

It really depends on the track layout and track condition (traction, smoothness...), sometimes black all around or black and white mix.
