Any mods to keep the single top screw for the front bumper from backing out?
#1358
I have not had that issue myself. Did you tap out the hole before installing the screw? .... just wondering cause that can make the fit not as tight.
Although not really used on plastics ..... you might try some blue Loctite on the threrds. It may help keep her in place.
Thinking about it..... I use a slightly longer screw in that location. Although that in itself would not stop it from backing out.

PS: Just a thought..... check you don't have anything giving you abnormal vibration up front/

Valid point. Maybe heavy duty velcro? Wouldn't it vibrate without anything support.
Thx BM and MW for your response.

So I hear that roar will ban the team c car in 2015 has anyone else heard this
#1362
Not true. That rumor was squashed months ago! I was also told that the race director has finally say in those types of rules. The RD for the nats told me himself he would not enforce it even if it were to become reality. "thats silly " is what he said!!
#1363
OK cool thanks I guess the rumors come from folks trying to steer folks to there product
#1364
Could be, thing is that even if it were not legal its just one race a year that nobody goes to anyway......
There is another newly released car that only has about 1 degree of kickup and not the same chassis as its offroad counter part, JUST sayin!

The "rumor" came from the original rules that were published by ROAR. Then there was 100 different interpretations posted on these forums by 100 different people of those rules. It wouldn't make much sense to eliminate a competitive chassis that doesn't seem to have a noticeable advantage. You would just be eliminating racers. If you read the rules as they were the last time I read them... I don't know of any new bodies that would be legal for the short chassis.
