Anyone else here running or messing around with the R40??
Picked one up and just got it all together. Was really a roller but needed some more parts etc..
Has an OS .12 TR installed, I had an extra THS Pipe laying around so I went ahead and installed it tonight just need to add radio gear and a flat rx pack..

Where did you manage to find all the Purple Aftermarket Billet Parts?? I have been searching, scouring Fleabay for weeks with hardly nothing. Managed to find one "Rear Brace" and thats it so far..

If you happen to know where I can get some whether the site be in the US or across the pond thats fine by me as long as I can get them!!

As for the bearings, shoot me a PM I wouldnt mind getting some good bearings..

Most of those allow parts weer from Japan and long discontinued. I have had that car since the first day the came out..and it still runs great. I have some extra parts I might want to sell..including the japan only rear sway bar..

Funny, but after putting my Super Nitro back together last night...and then promptly breaking the bumper...I kicked around the idea of picking up an R40. Never got one while they were out but thought about it...then nitro died. Just would hate to be in the same boat I'm in now with the Super.

T..do a search on EBAY..and then, at the top of th results it will say save search...EBAY will email you whenever the A411 shows up for sale..


just use HPI A411...don't use too many keywords...

Most people don't know about the saved searches in EBAY...I have 100 searches listed..helps me keep track of new cars and stuff I want without me having to search daily..

I am one of those. Didn't know it would e-mail you. Figured I didn't need to save them as I was more than capable of typing them in myself. Did know HOW to search for it though...

...come now Harry, you'd think I'd at least know how to do THAT. LOL

Got my search in, now we'll see. I've been looking at some of the R40s on there. Just how hard is it to get parts for it? Do you still race yours Harry?

Yep, I still do..One of the few cars I keep in house all year.

You can still get parts. I know of a couple of r40's for sale. I will check it out and let you know with the bumper.
