I am just reading all of this, wow I can't believe anyone thinks I don't have the "stones" to say what I think. Those that know me know that I will..

Billy you are right I should have known that rule when I said we would have our state race the weekend before. I screwed up, however being that you have had so much expierence running Nationals and World events you must have been aware of this rule. Maybe instead of making a plane flight you should have called me and told me about that rule. Just a thought.

This all started in 2007 when Dawn gave Rich Taylor the OK to have practice on Tues in Vegas. This should not have happened per the rule book. So now as the years have past it is now gotten out of hand.
Last year people complained that the event was to long. So ROAR says we now need to enforce the rules that have been in place for quite awhile. OK

Now if we had done what I thought was ok you would only have had 4 hours of practice Thurs morning. Steve and I talked about this and came up with this solution. This won't make everyone happy, it never does.
So we moved our State Race back another week.
So now some want Fri and Sat practice as this doesn't break any on the rules. So now the race will even be longer. This just gets crazier by the day.

Here's the bottom line. Drivers at this level should be able to get things in order fairly quick. If you don't think that is possible you need to make the call. If you choose not to come I respect that.
You at the sametime have to respect my desicsion to follow the ROAR guidelines.
Hope to see you at the track Wed morning for practice.

This will be my first time attending a race of this caliber! looking forward to the challenge i know we have 4-6 people from our home track attending and i am encouraging more to come with us. K raceway was my first road trip race last year and i really enjoyed myself. hopefully i will return home from this trip with more great memories!!!

You could even still race and pull it off

No, it is not part of this race because GT is not an official ROAR class. It will not be part of the ROAR Onroad Nationals until ROAR makes it an official sanctioned class.

Default ROAR minimum weight

Is the ROAR minimum weight for nitro TC still 1725g or did they lower it?
