Default Help identifying 1/8 chassis

A buddy of mine picked up a collection of assorted cars, and I was able to identify everything but a 1/8 onroad chassis he has.

Given the vintage of most of the cars, I believe it to be a Mugen, but I could be wrong, and I have no idea what model it might be.

Help is appreciated in advance.

Pictures attached.

That is an RX8 or now known as Edam Razor.

The aluminium parts instead of carbon does telll me it is the cheaper RTR version

I think Roelof meant XR8/XR80 from Powerracing R/C. Here is a link to the site:

http://www.powerracingrc.com/xr8.shtml

It was a decent car for a first-timer getting into Lola-body 8th scale racing; a bit more forgiving than the top-of-the-line cars of that day if you crashed a lot. Don't know if the car is even producted anymore or if parts are still available.

Thanks guys, that would also be inline with the cost/quality of the cars in the lot more than a Mugen chassis would be. I'll pass the info along.
