Motor & Pipe For RS4 3 Evo
#2
Well finally got some time to work on getting the Rs4 where I want it. Added some new fuel line, fuel filter, volt watch, hump pack, futaba radio gear..
Some Hpi parts..
Threaded Shocks
Sway Bars
1 set of Slicks
1 set of X Pattern
Next on the list will be a pipe.. Leaning towards either the THS Side Mount, Vantage Side Mount or Tsais Rear Mount..
Just not sure yet..
Will run this Hpi motor until she has no life left then upgrade to an OS 18..
I am really digging the look of these brake pads, they came Chrome but I painted them Red, going to add some caliper detail when I have some time.. But I think they look pretty cool.. They also act as your wheel pin hub!!

If you really have no worries or care about the HPI motor in it, I can give u some info on how to modify it a little so it runs a little harder than stock it wont be a precise mod, but it as long as you do it right it will make you happy

i went through the T3.0 in my RS4. They make decent power and good rpm but the rod is weak link and they dont handle the rpm much.
Most of the gain with them for performance is cutting on the crank, and some sleeve work, mainly raising timing but some flow mods are fine (i made a couple different sleeve shims to adjust timing).
The HPI crank is a decent crank though. I actually run the same crank that was in my T3.0 in one of my OS18CVR's. I was turning right around 37000rpm with the HPI motor with this crank on Byrons 30% with stock HPI pipe and manifold port matched.

I replied to your PM not sure what you are asking me to clarify but maybe this will help.. THS Racing makes tuned pipes for several rc's I've been running their pipes on my RS4's for awhile..
