Default newbie needing help

Ohai all Well this is my well.. initiation post i guess? so ill say a little about me D:

Im a 17 year old, finished year 12, and im now an IT systems engineer working in a law firm. thats about it..

Ok so my love of rc cars. well ive ALWAYS wanted one, i think the earliest i can remember wanting one was in 1999? but i never saved up enough. so last weekend my step brother gave me his old 'broken' car for $30 Dont ask about the specs i wouldnt have a clue. but ill list what ive done so far.

- cleaned it up (he didnt take care of it and its been sitting in a gararge for 3 years
- got a new radio and swapped out the old servo's
- broke the old pull start, got the pull start kinda working
- got a new glow ignition.. thing.

the car hasnt started yet ;/ but i have confidence in it. im going to charge my glow ignitor over night and hopefully i can start it in the morning >_< it sounds like its going to kick over but never does.

(ill get some pics)

Yes Pics will help. I can tell you that engine more than likely needs some internal cleaning

Nice work on getting it started.

It might be running rich. Try leaning it out a little and it might help. Also. check the compression of the engine.
