The Fuel Of Choice?

The best fuel that I have come across, and I’ve tried just about all the ones available in Europe is the Runner Time Fuel. Runner Time is such a good fuel that I even when to the extent of importing it my self, which is costly over seas but for the performance and reliability of the blend it was worth it as it outweighs this massively. Runner Time is the serious racers choice to those in the know. This is as a mass majority of team drivers (Europe especially) for all the major engine and car manufactures use it even if they say there running something else. E.g. Runner Time in a Tornado can?? This may because of sponsorship from other manufactures. Not good I know but it’s what happens!!! So I highly recommend Runner Time especially if its available in your area.

Regards

Speedy!

I really really doubt that Losi and Tornado fuel are the same.

info is from an unreliable source (he said it was on the can); its probably not true... I myself never saw tornado written on the can; come to think of it I have yet to see a can of the losi fuel.

I withdraw my statement...

kreamUNO 11-25-2007 01:04 PM

werks.

I run the losi fuel. The losi fuel is made by VP racing. I don't know about Tornado, but I believe it is made in Europe. The losi can says nothing about Tornado.

GHETTOTEACHER 11-25-2007 05:29 PM

Tornado 25%; On and Off road blend!
The products are manufactured in higly specialized facilities in the Netherlands. Goood stuff!!

Tornado Fuel 11-26-2007 04:52 AM

Tornado Fuel does make fuel for other manufacture in the Europe area, but at this point, we are not making any fuel for any US manufacture.
May be in the future, we will.......:)

I like running O-Donnell or Byron's/Mugen fuel. its available at all the places I race at and they seem to always be fresh since those to are the fuel of choice in Socal.....

Tornado is not making fuel for TQ. TQ blends they're own fuel.

The best fuel is fresh fuel. Find a good fuel brand and find which one flies off the self the fastest. Generally you'll find the fast moving fuel runs the best, since its most liely the freshest fuel.
What I want to see is a mixed fuel or "born on" date on the bottle!

wallyedmonds 11-26-2007 08:13 PM

THE BEST FUEL IS AGED 1 YEAR TORNADO :sneaky:
like a fine wine always good :)

but really tornado is the best iv ever used.:)

NitroHead 11-27-2007 05:52 AM

Thats what makes it so good Wally! It stays fresh and is consistant can to can. So far anyone who's tryed it has stayed with it. All I have to say is...
If you haven't tryed it? Try it... You will feel what everyone's buzzing about.

YES! It's that good.

lil-bump 11-27-2007 07:32 AM

I would love to try Tornado fuel; but at almost $60.00 a gallon I'll stick with my Byrons

Roelof 11-27-2007 07:41 AM

Tornado is not my choice, I have seen and experienced to much problems with it...

For years I mixed my fuels by my self with the use of 2 types of Castrol oils (Racing-M and MSSR) and it worked very well. Now Castrol stopped the production of these oils and I am looking for alternitives which I could have found at Shell.

Soon I will test Merlin fuel, this new brand seems to give a better performance and a larger drivetime on 1 tank. The first impression seems to be very good! One of the improoving things is the anti foam technology, a small movie about that can be found on youtube.

M7H, nee, jij hebt het fout. TQ wordt gemaakt door hun eigen bedrijf. Lol, het is all een lange tijd dat ik niet in Nederland hebt gewoond so mijn schrijven is heel wat achteruit gegaan!

Roelof, if you are having issues with foaming one fo the easist to access anti-foaming agents is simply silicoln. Simplest way to do this is a couple of drops of Armor All to a gallon of fuel (do not use too much). It's a easy way to increase the surface tension of the fuel to resolve this issue. Not the way that we do it but it's how a lot of people do.

Also for those of you in Europe I'm happy to say that we are increasing our presence over there with our Werks "Race Blend" fuel currently being available in England, Germany, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Norway & Portugal with several other countries in the works.

SUNA 11-28-2007 12:20 PM

The best over the counter fuel is Werks. Some pro or team blends are not available to the public so they should not even be considered.

patricio 11-28-2007 07:47 PM

:)Byrons is the way to go!!! Available in 20%, 30% and 40%.:nod::tire:

straightaway 11-28-2007 08:05 PM

For the money and availability, can't beat Byron. 30% $22.95/ gal at Ultimate hobbies. Engines stay clean no rust. I used OD for 4 yrs. When 3 of my $$$ engines got rusted, no more.

Even though you might feel your Dutch is a bit "rusty" I can perfectly understand it... ;)

J-MAN 11-29-2007 08:00 AM

Byrons new blend that all the team guys have been testing for the past year, the pink stuff you may have seen is now available to the public. You can even get the pro driver blend which is a lower oil content fuel, they never sold this blend until know!
