Heres some things I would try.

1. get away from the Mugen springs ... too stiff XRAY 7.0 in front NT1 red (38lbs) rear
2. Front shocks in the middle hole at the top
3. Move rear shocks down one hole
4 Stiffer front shock oil I use 800 ...600 in the rear

The 2012 RX8 lays the shocks down even more with the carbon fiber brackets on the A arms. play with that during practice, some of the guys down here are even trying the shocks in the lowest hole front and back ... it smoothes the car out, makes it even easier to drive.

Hope it helps ya

Also check your body position. 23 or 24 mm in from of the bumper should be fine. If you have more, this could give you too much steering. Also, check your steering speed in the radio.

I am new to onroad nitro. I just purchased a RX8 and have new tires for it. What should they be cut to? Or what would be the split from front to back tires. I will be racing at Blue Diamond this season. Anybody know what shore tire to use at Blue Diamond please let me know. Im guessing on the first couple sets. Thanks
