I am willing to take a loss on the kit because I have no use for it. I only have one kit and I now have a deal with Mugen, so I don't need this one. I am not going to part it out.

Default whynot clutch?

Whynot, what's wrong with the clutch in the 960 kit?
Is there a flaw in the design?

I think the 960 clutch is carried over from the 950. Perhaps some people felt the car needed a new clutch design, and they just figured out that they can fit the kyosho one in. For me its been a very consistent, set it and forget type of clutch. A long time ago I figured out I could fit kyosho weights in (i had two 950's). I guess (I repeat guess) some others also figured out they can just fit the whole thing in too.

I just know the Xp4 clutch real well and how to set it up and with the kyosho hard spring it has some made ass pop out of the corners.I set my 960 clutch the way it says to but I was getting alot of yellow clutch dust my first couple of times out.It seemed to get better but I heard of some people putting the xp4 clutch in there 960 because it is a really nice clutch.I need to change my gearing also it doesnt have alot of top end or bottom end so that will help also but I was real happy with the handling of the car I drove the best I have ever.I won my first heat and came in 2nd In my next heat(Tom Kelly) won that one,I possibly could of won that one also if I didnt have to get marshaled.I was trying to keep Tom from gettin the inside on me in a turn but I hit a ?? I dont know what they are called and it sent me upside down for like 10 sec that seemed like a hour ha ha but I prob would of still came in 2nd cause Tom was really fast in his Delta xp4.It was great racing with you tom.Are you going to toledo this sunday.I think we will have some pretty competitive racing between us.We need to figure out how to get the 16 laps in toledo. talk to you later.

Next time don't hit a speed bump trying to apex to closely, I'll just go around the outside, and make it on the inside on the next turn... lol Anyway both of us are better off giving each other room in the qualifier if we're going ot make 16 laps.

my formula for 16 laps in toledo: calm nerves, on the gas out of the corners as soon as I can, and don't stay on it too long to overshoot the corner... and finally, get the the carb in tune for more oomph, and stop messing with my roll centers...

I hope I can make it this weekend, now I have to ask the boss first. Its fun racing each other always...
