Default My nitro tc3 seems to overheat, help.

QUestion, my car kinda dies like after 6 minutes of usage, it does it everytime, seems like it is running too high. Is there any thing I can do to cool it down? Maybe its not tuned correctly?

do you have holes cut in the front windshield to let air blow across the engine?

My car die out after 6 minutes of run time too..............if I decided NOT to refuel the car...check that first.

But if fueling is not the issue....your HIGH end or LOW END might be too lean....counterclockwise 1/4 at a time..

theres a hole in the front and back window, 2" circle. It only dies when it idles. I was driving it, and I brought it back to check on fuel which was fine and then it died. happend twice.

Its strange, im new at this rc thing so I gotta read about it a bit. I could run it with out the body for a very long time, its just when the body is on that it dies.

Never run your car without a body!!!

I've never understood why some people want to run their car without a body. Noone else can see the da** thing, one, and two, it's not going to tell you anything you need to know. You can't set the carb. without the body. It shouldn't handle without a body, you need whatever downforce a body will give you.

If you have the new tank, and a good amount of pressure line you can get the temp where the engine will perform.

Check your settings, retune the engine back to factory settings and make sure the pipe is not being blocked by the body.

Default over heat?

Is it the earley design tc3 gas tank? Check and see if the presser line from the exhaust pipe comes out of the fuel cap or is it on the tank it self! If its on the tank then get the new design tank with it comming out the fuel cap. And get a Hellion1 body It's hot but it makes the car run cooler ...hope that didnt sound like advertising lol
