I remember seeing some guys with a very professional looking video camera setup roaming around the track. Do we know where and when that video will be posted?

That gentleman is doing some documentaries of vintage RC race cars. He was interviewing as many old timers and knowledgeable people that he could find that had a link to the past cars. I think he was saying that it will take a few more years to complete this. The focus at the GLC was for nitro pan cars, but he is also looking into electric.

There were two people making some videos. I'm waiting for an email with a link to a brief video that I can post, but it hasn't shown up yet.

I've got three short videos that I posted; it's not in any way "video coverage of the GLC", but I'm pleased with how the video of the 1/8 Open A-Main came out. You can find links to all of them on the cover page at www.sgrid.com. I think they're already posted here.

I was just told Aug 25th thru the 28th.

August 25 open for practice, and the race dates for 2011 are August 26, 27, 28.

The dates will be posted for all events when the club calendar has been determined. There are pleanty of race dates in the Midwest area here and our club mostly works our club schedule around the Midwest Series.

The updates should be posted within a week or two.
