I would say 600cst with 3 holes. ;)
I recommend to always run 3 hole pistons all around and adjust the balance by changing the fluid thickness.

Sure??? !

You answered very quickly...:D

And 500 cst with 3 holes is similar ... with 2 holes?

Rawz 01-31-2011 04:50 PM

But 400 is thinner than 500, right?
So more holes you need thiker to get the same action, no?

Whoops, I misread that. Should be 600cst with 3 holes off course.

You're very lucky, it's actually a limited edition, limited to only 100pcs.

its a nice looking car but its a little pricy!

Got some of the latest parts to start building my car for the 2011 season.

First the magnesium two-speed bulkheads.
These make the car even lighter and raise the rear ARB assembly so the small clips on the outside aren't needed anymore.
They come with delrin bearing inserts and new bearings.

Then we have the new aluminum downstop brackets. Some have experienced inregular downstop settings caused by pitting on the wishbone's downstop brackets, especially with the soft plastics.
To have perfect downstop settings all the time Capricorn came up with these aluminum brackets. They feature a steel insert where they hit the downstop screw.

The flanged uniballs prevent the link to pop off during a hard crash.

To add weight to the very light car Capricorn has a very heavy motormount.
It's made out of beryllium which is a very heavy and hard material. With this mount you won't strip the threads as with the brass mounts made by other companies. It also moves the entire engine 0.5mm towards the left for better balancing.

Updated chassis which now features mounting holes for balancing weights between the battery and the exhaust. It also has a clutch preload nut adjusting hole which makes adjusting the clutch a lot easier with the engine still in the car.

Still some building to do, basically waiting on some red aluminium screws and washers I've ordered. I'm also redoing all the electronics with lightweight 26 or 32AWG mil. spec wiring.

No, the parts I've shown aren't in the limited edition kit.

From what you've quoted I'm pretty sure you will get the limited edition kit.

It comes with the following parts:

-Kevlar pulley set
-Plasic bumper plate and plastic lateral brace, instead of carbon part (more flex)
-Front sway bar kit
-Long life belt
-Red shock springs (Softer springs)

omegaf 02-02-2011 03:56 AM

:smile::smile: Cool!

Aren't sway bars standard for front and rear? What's so special about them in the limited edition?

Oh and in the battery holder what size battery can I fit? are there special packs or will my NiMH 6 cell fit?

Serpent-Dan 02-02-2011 07:52 AM

Yea the car comes with sway bars front and rear. But what your getting is the optional front wire bar as well as the blade type. You decide which you want to use!
