Fly Wheel Puller Tool - Sources??

Guys

How do you loosen the flywheel from the motor shaft? Does anyone use or know of a source for a gear puller tool; that pulls the flywheel by a screw pressure on the end of the shaft?

I used to have a tiny one to pull the pinion gear off slot car motors. Now with multiple cars and motors I want to swap motors around and need to easily pull the flywheel.

I did a search and could not find anything?

kyosho makes a flywheel puller. i 've also found a car battery terminal puller @ sears for around $9 bucks - it'll do the job as well. by the way, the kyosho is around $39 bucks.

Go to Autozone or any automotive parts store and get the battery terminal puller. It's pretty much the same thing as a "flywheel puller".

Thanks

Thanks for the advice

guess I don't need some $50 tool for a $5 solution.

There really is not a need for a puller. Just tap the flywheel with a rubber hammer..... it should pop off!
