Hi, from what i think... the Dbox is installed to the car to have it automatically counter steer the car through the turns, i think i remember watching it from somewhere that it showed a guy holding the car, bottomof the car facing the camera and as he move the car from left to right the sterring (counter steers) which in turn when your trying to drift it is much easier and easy to deal with while drifting.... thats what i thinki it is!

It is just a gyro which are used on RC helicopters.

It act as a drift assist but true drifters can do without it.

YEP it's just a GYRO you can probably find one for half the price of the DBOX
