Not the fastest engines arround......

2 Clubmembers did get .12 engines as sponsoring and they were not the fastest. There were some tunings issues which were solved by using Novarossi carbs (I have also seen with .21 engines) and the speed did came after a lot of changes in the cranktiming.

But a good thing was the lifespan of the .12, I believe 1 of the engines is still running after 2 years.

Never heard of them. Are they actually another brand or just someone elses motor (Picco, Novo, Star, GRP, etc,) rebranded?

If they are rebranded models I would think they were made by SH. They have same coulors purple and gold on their heads as SH and the design does have some same looking spots. Others say they are just Novarossi but then the quality and performance must be better....

The Vega engine is in the hands of SPM: http://www.spmracingparts.com/

Looks like SH to me. If so, should be cheap, decent quality, ok but not great power.

O.M.G this guy don't know what is spm at all. they are the factory that make engine for novarossi and picco engine block in large numbers and spm come out with their line. and they make their own carb. and heat sink.

Joined 3 years ago, just made your 1st post...
How can we trust what you just said....

Vega engines come from Spain, SPM.. I don't know actually, maybe it's the same company as you said...I did drive some SPM tyres a few years ago, but that's it.... good tyres though...
