Hello everyone, just getting home from the track, got here at 6:00 am and just finished testing and getting live rc up and running. Sorry I didn't get it up and running today, but I work on it for 9 hours with Brandon on the phone and had some glitches because it is all our new equipment and Brandon is in WI so we had to do it my entire phone. Thanks Brandon for all the hard work to make this possible for SWR and the fans on line...

Practice went well about 34 plus driver showed up to practice today and a lot of locals will be out tomorrow. The track was not the best traction we ever had but I think with the moisture in the air tonight will help the track get better and faster tomorrow. I met some really nice people for the first time today and hope you all enjoy your stay.

Mike Swauger was the only car in the 16.6 – 16.8 range and the next best was 16.9 to 17.2 and there were at least 16 racers in that range, so making the A main is going to be tough.
There’s going to be some great battles on the track. The track is technical but with some great passing points, but you will have to hold a tight line to make a clean pass.

We will be having tripled mains for the nitro class again this year. We will be running 3- 20 min mains for the expert and 3-15 min mains for the sportsman class. Triple in the gas is something we tried last year and a lot of the racers like it because the fastest guy can’t always win especially in gas racing.

SpeedWorld would like to thank everybody for coming and for the on-line users tomorrow that will be watching, hope you enjoy.
I will try to keep you all posted on the racing daily if your not on line.

Here is some update everyone, What a day the track started off being over a second a lap faster. I layed down some water on the track last night and walla. On practice day Friday Swauger rac a 16.5 or 16.6 today Swauger ran a 15.5 and the rest of the field right behind him 15.8 or so for most.
Thn on the final round around 4:00pm the sun went away and started to light springle and the track got fast again. All in all great day of racing. Tomorrow will be even better.
Scott Fisher and Marco Acosta bottom bup up to the A main in expert and Jarome Ramos and J.R Cruz bumped up to the A main in Sportsman.

Sunday racing. gates open at 7:30 am, Practice will start at 8:00 am driver meeting at 9:15 am racing at 9:30 am.

Just wanted to thank Mugen and the Bowermans for putting on another great event at SpeedWorld. Everyone I talked to loved the triple a main format with a chance to bump up... I'm pretty sure there was at least 4 racers with a chance for 2nd over all leading up to the 3rd final and it made the racing exciting...

The racing was fun and hanging out after the day was great.....

Thanks to Eugene Osborne and Harry for the pit work.. Thanks to Mike Swauger and Robbie Collins for all help leading up to and during the actual races....

I'll see you all next year....

I had a pretty darn good time at this race. I'm not too sure about the triple A-main thing, but I still had a good time.

Billy: You put on a great program and I wanted to say thanks for the hospitality.
Thanks to Jeff B. for the pit work in the main. Us Kyosho drivers were a bit alone at this race, but I did manage to break up the Mugen blue in the main. I am waiting to see what Sohlman does with photoshop for those pics of that bright red shirt!!!
Thanks to Brad and James for the help in practice and the quals. Thanks to Robbie for his usual clean racing in the B-main. Of course thanks to all my sponsors listed below. Please consider their products as they are great people and companies.

vallejo guys are with scott fisher on the triple A Main, one long final race would have been better as voted over all... we had a great time other than some bad luck with our expert guys.. thanks swr,mugen, and the other sponsors for having a some what feeling like a national for us sportman drivers lol see y'all again next year..

I would like to thank Billy & staff for putting on one of the best race format of the year, also one of the best kept track I've been too...racing at speedworld in one of the best experience I've had since entering nitro few years back...it was a pleasure to meet some of the local racer....oh yea Billy & Tracy is one of the nicest track owners you'll ever meet...my wife will not stop talking about how much she likes the track

looking forward to coming back to speedworld raceway.
