Default Top 5 Radios on the market

I wanted to get a new radio.

Heaps of people have been riding off spektrum...was told it has range issues etc.

My nomadio is pretty bad sometimes..battery problems etc..

I was told by a few people the futuba 3pm is best bang for buck.
and the futuba 4pk is the best radio you can vitrually get..

I am going to use it for racing and for the baja..

Just wanted to get everyones ideas on the top 5 radios that are on the market at the moment.

this sounds dumb, but go to ur shop and try them all, just hold em in ur hand while chattin up the rep. goin over each or even strayin off topic. the radio you forget your holding is the 1 that you want. b/c it doesnt mean crap if it has all these features and good range if it makes your hands ache.

Best balance feel for me is KO Helios EX10. Very light and the weight is centered however not the easiest to use/navigate the menu due to small screen.

Best performance and easiest to use is Futaba 4PK. If you are using Lipo batt it will have a top heavy feel.

This is only my opinion and I own both model.

Buy what you can afford. Some guys have problems with any radio they have. I love the feel of the 4pk (too much $) and EX-10 with drop down. But I'am really happy with my DX3R. The responce time is outstanding. I think alot of people screw up the antenna on the DX3R. (COAXIAL)
