Herbie, what are you trying to achieve again?

p/s: maybe you should change your number from 53 to 1?

I want to achieve a consistend 710 that suits my drivingstyle:D j/k

The car behaves wel but it sometimes goes it's own way:nod: Got some mid corner offpower oversteer. Can't get rid of it:(

Running 40 shore ats tires allround.

ps: I started counting my wins at one:ha:

I assume that since you've had 52 wins under your belt, you would have checked everything so I don't know what advice I can offer. The last time something like this happened to me, I found 1 definite problem and the other a possible problem ... both in one of the 705's front shock.

Definite: the c-clip had dislodged and the piston was slightly out of place hence inconsistent performance after a certain travel.

Possible: upon rebuilding, I also found that the whole piston set was kinda sticky at one particular spot ... another reason to have it behave funny.

Guess what: it was also at mid corner when the most weight was on the left of the car (clockwise circuit)!

ps: I started counting my wins at one:ha:
Respect! Now come join us in the Euro our that MarkP just announced a few pages back.

Problem was that hobby costs a lot more than RC!

I think that is not a hobby.
Since we cannot tune the stick and we cannot overdrive the ball.

Yeah, looks like Serpent is really trying to reduce cost of R/C nitro racing.

Props to Serpent!

Awww ... don't be like that .. so humble. You'll be surprised how good you are when you find yourself beating all of us!

We'll see... Yesterday I got my degree "Bachelor of Automotive Engineering" so first I'd have to find a job... Does anyone have Ross Brawn's cell phone number? :sneaky:
Congratulations on the graduation but why work for Ferarri? Take a real challenge ... work for Minardi! At least there's room to modify stuff and make them faster!

The problem was that I was always trying to tune the stick as well as overdrive the ball!

Worse still, I thought when they tell me "let's play four "O"s they meant RC cars. I only discovered later that this means we are now betting in thousands when I had to pay up!

I think the vertical rear shocks are the problem. Try them at the lowest position again.

True.. true... Working with Ferrari would be like working with Serpent... what is left there for one to do? :sneaky:

Mark, get me Paul Stoddard's number while you're at it.

I have been driving my new 710 a couple of times now, but i think it have too little steering, i like to have some oversteer coming into corners. Hav gone for less caster(2mm in front) and 1.5 toe out, is there more i can do??
