I was told once that the internet is addictive, I have been on the net for years, but one thing I am addicted to is this forum. Thank you guys. It is the 11th today here, and payday is the 26th... then I can place my order on the 29th... I CANT WAIT, nearly time for delivery...
You're not the only addict here - just one more post....I can handle it.....it's not like I need to post......I just kind of like to!

I must admit, I use windows... I am a desktop support engineer with a dream and I hate the platform I use, but it is all I know... My dream is to at least compete in the world championships, I would like to race at least once at all the popular tracks around the world... My 710 will stand by me.

Glow plug hole too big? What are you trying to do? Take the enigne out with the bodyshell on?

Well, the cable ties is a cheap way to protect the head. Especially if you run Lola body which makes the engine exposed. I think Mugen sells some head protectors that you can put on too.

Not sure how it works with the WC - if it is by invitation only, but it you want that WC feeling, I think you could do worse than going to the Winternats in florida next year - it is affectively a mini-WC.

Being a sw developer + ex-photographer, my platforms of choise are: Solaris (creative programming), Linux (just for the fun and freedom of it) and OSX (for the beauty and creativity) :D

Solaris is the operating system from Sun Microsystems - this is the worlds most stable platform. Uptime on these units is in the order of a couple of years without reboots! The only reason mine go down at home is due to power cuts

well, I thought as much... you program GSM handsets... which ones... Nokia, Siemens... I am always looking for S\W for my Nokia 6600, got it running NGAGE games recently... wander if I could program digital servos with it... put it on a 710 and film a slow run...

You're brave   Actually I work for several companies and am sworn to secrecy :D They are Asian firms, though.

BaxterC 03-11-2004 12:31 AM

I suppose... I can respect your secrecy... I am worried, and I wander if anyone can help, If I order a kit on the first of april from serpent, and if they send me all the updated parts, what will I actually get that is updated? I dont want to order on the 1st and on the 3rd they release another update, and then I sit with an old part that I will need to purchase and spend more money. Are there any other expected updates?
